The Alfonso family migrated from Cuba in 1980 through Mariel. After first partnering with another Cuban family to run "La Nueva Crema," they set out on their own and opened Capri on February 13, 1986 as the J. Alfonso Corporation.
Nearly four decades later, Capri is still family-owned and family-run. We specialize in savory desserts, Cuban coffee, roast pork, empanadas, fresh-baked bread, Cuban cappuccino cakes, Cuban sandwiches, and café con leche.
