If you've ever been told you have to drive to Miami to get a real Cuban sandwich, we'd like to respectfully disagree. The Capri Cubano Supremo has been right here on Southern Blvd in West Palm Beach since 1986. No highway required.
What Makes a Cuban Sandwich a Cuban Sandwich?
It starts with the bread. Cuban bread — pressed golden and buttered until the outside crackles and the inside is soft — is doing most of the work before you even get to the filling. Get that wrong and nothing else matters.
From there, it's roast pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles and mustard. Pressed together until everything melts into one thing. That's the classic, and there's a reason nobody messes with it.
What We Press at Capri
Our [Cuban sandwiches](/cuban-sandwich-west-palm-beach/) come a few different ways, depending on how hungry you are and what you're in the mood for.
The Capri Cubano Supremo is our signature — a step up from the standard with fries or tostones (fried green plantains) on the side. It's the one regulars order without looking at the menu.
The Cubano Regular is the classic if you want to keep it simple and traditional. Clean, pressed, exactly what it should be.
And the D' Media Noche — the medianoche (midnight sandwich) — is the Cubano's sweeter cousin. Same fillings, but on soft, slightly sweet egg bread. If you've never tried one, that's your next visit sorted.
We also press a Croqueta Preparada — a ham croqueta tucked into Cuban bread. It's exactly as good as it sounds.

What keeps people coming back — "El Que Prueba Vuelve," as we say, whoever tries it comes back — isn't just one thing on the menu. It's the whole picture.
An Alfonso family member has been behind this counter every single day since we opened. The Alfonso family came from Cuba in 1980 and spent years learning what West Palm Beach was hungry for before they got it exactly right. That history lands in every pressed sandwich we hand across the counter.

We're open Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM, Friday and Saturday until 9:30 PM, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Plenty of time to stop in before work, after work, or somewhere in between.
